#PMSC - ZANDVOORT PREVIEW

|   PMSC
Home race for BWT Lechner Racing driver Robert de Haan at Zandvoort

The final part of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup season 2025 will start at Zandvoort: The 4.259  km long circuit in the dunes of the Dutch North Sea coast is very unique due to its banked corners, which present a special challenge for everybody. This year the weather is expected to be quite rainy – so this will probably make it additionally difficult for drivers and teams.

For BWT Lechner Racing driver Robert de Haan it will be a very special event, as the Dutch driver will race in front of the huge crowd of his fellow countrymen, the Orange Army cheering for Max Verstappen in Formula 1.

De Haan is still very much in the fight for the championship, coming into his home race in P2 only four points behind the championship leader. With Marvin Klein currently in 5th position in the drivers' classification, BWT Lechner Racing lies in P2 in the team championship, 23.5 points behind the leader. But with a total of 90 points still to grab in the last two rounds, with a good result in Zandvoort everything can still be possible in the final of the season in Monza one week later.

Robert Lechner, Team Principal of BWT Lechner Racing: “We are going to Zandvoort very well prepared and will do everything to achieve a strong result here. And afterwards we will have a look at the points – hopefully we will then be in a good position in the fight for both championships for the final weekend. It will be a special race for Robert de Haan – for sure racing in front of his home crowd will give him a bit of extra motivation.”

Robert de Haan: “I am really looking forward to my home race. Driving the pink car in front of my huge Dutch home crowd is really cool. I am sure the team can do a very good job again – so I hope we can get a good result.”

Marvin Klein: “Zandvoort is always challenging and exciting, so let's push and give everything to be in a good position before the last round in Monza next week. I am looking forward to being back on track with BWT Lechner Racing again after the summer break and hope for a good result.”
